The future of contactless deliveries

With many of us taking advantage of flexible work arrangements, the convenience, safety and security benefits of contactless delivery have never been more important. Stuff.nz reported a surge in parcel thefts in December last year, with figures released by NZ Post under the Official Information Act revealing that there were 49 reports of parcels confirmed as missing after delivery in the last 12 months. However, that figure could be the tip of the iceberg, as senders (or receivers) don’t always report a missing parcel, in some cases, it is not clear if any item has been stolen after delivery or miss-delivered.
